A component of my degree show piece, the limewood sculpture of St Augustine. It was included to include a vertical paradigm in a very much horizontal piece of work, showing how my thinking was fed by imagery and information for a diverse number of places. I felt that the ledger itself needed some explanation and so prepared a concordance to explain why things were where they were in the original book. This multiplicity of texts was perhaps, on reflection, a little bit too much information. In my defence, I was very involved with the project and continued working on it until it seemed to be finished.
