TOLLE LEGE LEDGER
As mentioned in the Tolle Lege page, the ledger was fixed to the bed sculpture in my Degree Show final piece. It was an attempt to include a vertical paradigm in a horizontal piece of work, showing how my thinking was fed by imagery and information from a diverse number of places. I felt that the ledger in itself needed some explanation and so prepared a concordance to explain why things were where they were in the original book. This multiplicity of texts was perhaps, on reflection, a little bit too much information. In my defence, I was very involved with the project and I continued working on it until it seemed to be finished.
