THE ROAD HAND WRITTEN
I decided that I needed a bespoke copy of Cormac McCarthy's novel The Road. I had a UK paperback and a US hardback edition, but neither seemed right. So, I scanned the book, printed it out and traced it using a 0.1 Rotring pen, a Lightbox and a magnifying glass. For the binding I wanted the sections to show, but unfortunately I did not do the best job. I suppose it is some kind of testament to my determination to do something very time consuming and ultimately pointless. Cormac McCarthy died while I was finishing this off, which made me sad.
