2026 Works (since graduating).

Elephant Sculpture for Trunks Across the Thames, charity sculpture trail.
This was an open call ran by Thames Hospice and Wild in Art. It was a paid opportunity, although the piece, cladding a fibre glass base with 2cm squares of wood, took 6 weeks to complete. It did give me the opportunity to make a large work and negotiate with materials, clients and suppliers.

The Bones of Antediluvian Monsters and Of Lost Races of Man; the skull of a Giant Snipe.
This piece was created for the Sculpture Lounge Summer Exhibition in Holm Valley, Yorkshire. I drove the piece to the gallery, which enabled me to create a connection with the organisers of the space, widening my network of artists and galleries.
Guitar
I created this piece to widen the possibilities for working with wood. I purchased a second hand guitar for £75 and stripped the paint back to the woodwork. I felt this piece may lead to commissions or other sales, or open a new field for my practice.
The Assassination of John F Kennedy Bird Table.
I came by a quantity of pine wood from a Bath resident via the website Freecycle. The wood had belonged to the woman's husband who had passed away. It had been left in the corner of their garage, its purpose undefined. I decided to try and make something that was so outlandish, an object that no-one in their right mind would want to own, and conceived of a bird table that was based on the open top limousine in which American President John F Kennedy was assassinated. I have a number of ideas for a range of other highly elaborate, and unconventional bird tables, which I will manufacture in due course. There was a lot of wood.
Sleepy Eyes Film Festival – February 2026
An animated film I made in 2021 was selected as part of this festival, in which short films were projected into shop windows in a street in The Hague, in the Netherlands. There was a small fee for taking part, and so I decided to attend the opening evening and stay for a few days in order to meet other artists involved in the programme and the organisers. While I am not engaged in animation or film making, I felt it was a good opportunity to broaden my contacts into Europe.
In the last year I have made a number of wooden relief sculptures in lime wood. I believe these pieces might have a wider audience than three dimensional pieces. The piece below is based on the Martyrdom of St Denis by Henri Bellechose.
This piece is based on Saint John Chrysostom by Andrei Rublev. It appeared in the Bath Open Art Prize Exhibition in the 44AD Artspace in Bath.
And these smaller landscape pieces were each made in one day, showing how the concept can create more affordable, versatile works. These were considered to be used as the branding for this year's
