Lime & pine wood.
While considering what I might propose for the Bath Spa Library Commission, I thought about the assassination of John F Kennedy. Did not Lee Harvey Oswald shoot some of the bullets that might have killed the American President from the Texas Book Depository. I was searching for book related ideas and this was one. I moved on to the FINAL DESIGN (CLICK HERE), leaving a swiftly made JFK without a face on the side.
In April 2026, I responded to a freecycle advert for some free pine wood. I had not wanted to waste my dwindling stock of lime wood on a model of a limousine, but now with pine coming out of my ears, I went about making the piece. I put it in my garden and filmed the wild life that came to feed on it. Most birds seemed put off by the design.
