GIRLS WITH A KITTENS

There were a lot of plywood squares left from cutting the holes in the Sunset Lexicon table.  As a life long fan of Lucien Freud, in particular his early paintings with their microscopic flyaway hairs and flat colours, and even more in particular the painting Girl With A Kitten, I thought I might appropriate the basic composition and in certain cases, the girl and sometimes the kitten, and make a series of Gouache paintings.
