BLACK. BOOK 1
I have been carrying a Venezia Romantica leather bound A5 Black Book wherever I go since I was given this one by my previous colleagues at LukeCharles design agency for Christmas in 2015. I am continually working in it, making notes, research, quotes, photographs, pormanteau scrapbooking, painting, drawing and any other technique that comes to mind. It is an important part of my artistic practice, working on ideas for future works and recording the processes of development.
On the other hand, it is like being chained to a breeze block and I long to run with the horses like Burt Lancaster in The Swimmer.
