For a little while I was very interested in drawing things as though they had been overgrown with bindweed. These speculative drawings were very time consuming, permanently ruined my eyesight and proved meagre in financial return. People don't want to buy an A4 drawing for £8000 just because it took some poor idiot 6 months to do. My final Bindweed piece was an ambitious A2 rendering of Constable's Haywain, which took about five years to do. I thought I had lost it, but I just found a reasonable photograph (below).
